Vietnam family itineraries

Vietnam is a very long thin country so many itineraries follow roughly the same route, starting either in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and then working their way either north or south. This works well as it helps prevent backtracking and you can arrange ‘open jaw’ flights into one city and out of the other.

For those with two full weeks you can easily take in all of the highlights of the country and even have a bit of time to enjoy the beach along the way as in our Highlights of Vietnam tour. If you have only a shorter period then perhaps consider an itinerary such as our example Northern Vietnam itinerary which takes in the most spectacular scenery of the north and includes plenty of activities and culture.
