Vietnam family itineraries
Vietnam is a very long thin country and the weather varies quite dramatically from one part to another. Our Highlights of Vietnam is perfect for Easter and July/August, concentrating on the north and centre of the country. It ticks off all the highlights with a great combination of culture, scenery, food, history and beaches in two weeks. For shorter periods, our Northern Vietnam trip should suit with a lovely mixture of city and rural rice terrace scenery with some relaxation on a Halong Bay cruise.
If you are travelling at Christmas and are looking for good weather, you may want to consider heading to the south. At this time of year it works really well to combine Southern Vietnam with Cambodia as in our Highlights of Cambodia and Vietnam itinerary.
