Hi Caroline and Sarah. Thanks again for all the hard work that went into our trip to South Korea, we had such an amazing time! Everything ran exactly to plan, the guides were great and all the stuff we did was interesting and fun. I don’t think we’d have changed anything in the itinerary and the 8/9 days we were there felt about right. Every day was pretty full on, but that suited us fine.

To give you a summary of each location:

Seoul: amazing! Alice was a brilliant tour guide, we saw loads of cool stuff and the kids loved the shopping, the lights and the chaos. Location of the hotel was really good. Close to shopping areas and easy to get to the Seoul Tower. The day tour of the city including the food market was brilliant and getting to try food that we wouldn’t normally eat was a treat.

The day trip to the DMZ was really cool and the boys loved it. It was really interesting to be so close to north Korea!

Busan: was really fun/quirky. The train from Seoul was fun and the first day tour was great because we packed loads in which was great for the kids… no time to get fed up. Jay our guide was good at getting us round. The capsules and temples were great but the highlight for all of us was the Luge!! We loved it! The hotel was really good, great location by the beach and with loads of food options nearby!!

Jeju: we were a bit unlucky with the weather but it really didn’t matter. We still had a really fun time. Being in the hotel we went to probably helped as the pool was amazing and the food/restaurant/bar were really good quality so we had a couple of good meals there. Suzie the tour guide was hilarious and we loved her… she was slightly eccentric (in a good way).

We really enjoyed the boat trip, particularly the chance to do some fishing which the boys loved and F even caught a fish which was good! We had a great barbecue for lunch on Jeju!

Thanks again and if you have any info on trips to Chile or Peru, we’re thinking about that for some point next year…
