China pricing guide
China is one of Asia’s more expensive countries to travel in, partly because the distances are so huge that you often need to take a number of internal flights. However, we will try to work with whatever budget you have so please call us to discuss your options.
To give a general guideline, the price for a standard 2-week itinerary to China that includes the highlights of the country will cost around £8,000 for a family of four (excluding international flights). This is based on comfortable mid-range hotels and private transport.
However, we would like our tours to be accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
If you are travelling on a tight budget, there are ways that we can bring down the price down. For example we can remove many of the private guided tours and give you time to explore by yourselves or perhaps reduce the number of places visited so as to lessen the required internal flights or trains. With these measures, we may be able to bring the price down closer to £5,500 for two weeks for a family of four.
Visas
Visas for UK passport holders are £216 per person. They are much cheaper for other nationalities.
International flights
All prices exclude international flights. There are plenty of direct flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong from the UK and prices start from around £500. Direct flights generally take around 10-11 hours.
Indirect flights are also available with prices starting from £450 and durations from 12-14 hours.
Flights are available for booking approximately 11 months in advance. If travelling during UK school holidays we suggest that you book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best fares. Prices will rise considerably the closer to departure that you book.

Age limits
There are no age limits on any of our holidays. We will tailor the itinerary to the ages of your children and can accommodate everyone.
