Price guidelines

To give you a guideline, a two-week holiday for a family of four to the USA will usually cost a minimum of around £10,000 (excluding international flights and ESTAs). This includes car hire, accommodation in one family room in comfortable hotels / motels and some activities.

If you would like to stay in two rooms, or more luxurious accommodation, particularly in the national parks, then the price will rise significantly and might start from around £14,000 per family (excluding flights).

The key thing is to give us an idea of your budget and we can then suggestion accommodation and activities that will fit within this.

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. These start from £450 per person if travelling offseason but are likely to be closer to £750-£1,000 per person during holiday periods (particularly if flying to the west coast). We will be very happy to provide a flight quote for you from your nearest airport. Please ask us for details. Please remember you will need an ESTA (electronic visa authorisation) in order to board any flight to the USA.

Age limits

There are no age limits on our tours and we will tailor the itinerary to the ages of your children. Of course, some activities will not be suitable for younger children but we can suggest alternatives to suit your family.

Financial protection

Rest assured that you have 100% financial protection if you book with us, as we are members of the Travel Trust Trade . All monies paid to us by you are deposited into a trust account and the funds are only released to Stubborn Mule after you have completed your holiday. We also have ATOL membership, number T7608.
