When to go to Jordan
Jordan can be visited all year round. It gets hot in the summer months, but it is a dry heat and most families can cope with this provided they make the most of the cool in the morning and late afternoon and take it easy in the heat of the day.
Winter is cold, particularly in the desert regions around Wadi Rum and Petra – it has even been known to snow! This is still a good time to visit but you need to ensure that you bring warm clothing. Perhaps the best times to visit are in spring and autumn, when it is neither too hot nor too cold.
