Where to stay in Greece
Greece has no shortage of big and often rather chic resorts, but we handpick small, traditional family-run properties with bags of character, with rooms, suites or apartments often clustered around a swimming pool. Alternatively, we might source you a spacious standalone apartment, perhaps with its own pool. Greece is varied and offerings differ wildly by destination.

What are different kinds of accommodation like in Greece?
Apartments are often the best kind of family accommodation in Greece – and sometimes the only accommodation, in places such as Loutro in Crete, where there are no hotels. Alternatively, in Chania, you might like an ancient stone house on a cobbled street in the middle of the Old Town, drenched in atmosphere.

In certain places, we can offer agri-tourism properties hidden amidst olive groves, where all the family can join in with the hands-on activities such as bread-making and cookery lessons. Where possible, we will put you in quieter areas, often near secret coves, and when you we do offer hotels, they are Greek-owned and boutique in scale, with a personal welcome. If you want to stay right on the beach, we can upgrade you to that, too.
