Mexico pricing guide

One other major factor in determining the price in Mexico is whether you choose to self-drive, have private transfers or be escorted throughout by a private chauffeur.

Price guidelines

To give you a guideline, a two-week self-drive holiday for a family of four to Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula will usually cost from £6,000 (excluding international flights). This is based on travel during the summer and excludes international flights. It assumes that the family will all be in one room and that hotels will be clean and comfortable but not luxurious.

If you are travelling with older children who will need their own room, the price will start from £7,750 for the same tour.

If travelling at Christmas or Easter, the price will start from around £8,000, based on the family sharing one room and £9,500 based on two rooms.

There are also some wonderful luxury hotels in Mexico which are of course more expensive. If you would like to use these hotels, prices will start from £8,500 for a two week holiday for a family of four, excluding flights.

These prices are all based on self-drive programmes and exclude international flights. If you would like to have a private English speaking driver-guide this will usually entail a supplement of around £1,500 over the prices quoted above.

Our two-week self-drive Yucatan and Belize holiday for a family of four costs from £11,000 (excluding international flights) for travel during the summer. Again if you travel at Easter or in the summer, or if you would like to have two rooms, the price will increase.

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. These start from £500 per person for Mexico only trip and £750 per person for Mexico and Belize. Prices will be higher during school holidays. We will be very happy to provide a flight quote for you from your nearest airport. Please ask us for details.

Age limits

There are no age limits on our tours and we will tailor the itinerary to the ages of your children. Certain activities do have minimum ages but we will advise you about these where necessary when planning your itinerary with you.
