Egypt

Egypt pricing guide

All our holidays are individual and tailored for you and your family. The exact price of your tour will vary depending on a wide range of factors including how many of you there are, what level of hotels you want to stay in and whether you stay in one large family room or have children and adults in separate rooms.

Price guideline

It is possible to arrange a competitively priced tour in Egypt, however, there is an enormous variation in price depending on where you stay.

Our standard Egypt holidays will start from around £8,000 for a 9-day trip for a family of four based on mid-range hotels (with pools). This excludes international flights.

If you upgrade to nicer 5-star hotels, the price will start from around £9,800 for a 9-day trip, again excluding international flights.

For a longer 12 day trip, prices start from £12,000, with upgrades from £13,500 and upwards, excluding international flights.

Should you be on a tighter budget do speak to us, as with some adjustments we may be able to bring prices down closer to £7,500 for a 9 day trip, and £11,000 for a 12 day trip, excluding international flights.

If you would like to combine Egypt with Jordan, this works really well as the two destinations complement each other. However, this can be more expensive than you might expect. A two-week trip would start from £14,500 for a family of four, based on simple hotels and excluding international flights.

One thing to consider for a tour in Egypt is whether you would like to be accompanied by one of our specialist tour leaders. Although we do not include a tour leader in most countries, in Egypt we find that they are invaluable in helping to make arrangements and ensuring the smooth running of the tour. They are always brilliant with children and add a great deal to your experience. However, if you are travelling on a budget we can avoid this and use the services of local reps as needed throughout the tour to keep the price down.

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. These start from £400 per person if you fly indirectly. Direct flights with British Airways or EgyptAir usually start from £450. We will be very happy to provide a flight quote for you from your nearest airport. Please ask us for details.

Flights are available for booking approximately 11 months in advance. If travelling during UK school holidays we suggest that you book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best fares. Prices will rise considerably the closer to departure that you book.

Age limits

We don’t impose any age limits on our tours and can accommodate even the youngest children on a trip to Egypt. We will tailor the itinerary to ensure that it is suitable for the ages of your children.

Financial protection

Rest assured that you have 100% financial protection if you book with Stubborn Mule Travel. This is guaranteed through our membership of the Travel Trust Association (membership number Q0176) and our ATOL membership (number T7608). Further details can be found on our Financial Protection page.

Next step

All you need to do is let us know a few key details about you and your family and we will do the rest. After a chat to understand more about you, we can produce an itinerary as a starting point and you can review this as many times as you need to until we get it just right.
