Price guidelines

Iceland is quite an expensive destination. Most people choose to do a self-drive itinerary so we will include car hire, accommodation, and some activities. A two-week trip on this basis will usually cost a minimum of £14,320 for a family of four (excluding international flights), including a number of activities and entrance fees.

If you want a very full programme, with a wide range of activities, the price is likely to start from around £15,500.

If you are travelling for a shorter period of time, a week-long tour is likely to start from around £8,500 although it does vary depending on the time of year and exactly what activities you would like us to include.

The key thing is to give us an idea of your budget and we can then suggest accommodation and activities that will fit within this.

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. These start from around £250 per person. Please ask us for details.

Age suitability

There are no age limits on our tours and we will tailor the itinerary to the ages of your children. Of course, some activities will not be suitable for younger children but we can suggest alternatives to suit your family.

Financial protection

Rest assured that you have 100% financial protection if you book with us, as we are members of the Travel Trust Trade (membership number Q0176). All monies paid to us by you are deposited into a trust account and the funds are only released to Stubborn Mule after you have completed your holiday. We also have ATOL membership, number T7608.
