Nepal pricing guide

All our holidays are individual and tailored for you and your family. The exact price of your holiday will vary depending on a wide range of factors including how many of you there are, what level of hotels you want to stay in and whether you stay in one large family room or have children and adults in separate rooms.

Price guidelines

Nepal is generally a relatively inexpensive destination but costs will vary quite widely depending on the nature of the itinerary. Trekking is comparatively cheap (if you are staying in teahouses) and a two-week trek will therefore cost considerably less than a more standard itinerary where you are staying in hotels every night.

A ‘standard’ 2-week non-trekking holiday for a family of four in Nepal will usually cost around £5,000 (excluding international flights) based on mid-range accommodation. If you want to upgrade to more luxurious hotels, the price will start from £6,500.

A 2-week trekking tour, for example trekking to Everest Base Camp and staying in simple teahouses en route, will usually cost from around £3,300 for a family of four.

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. Flights to Kathmandu from the UK start from around £450 per person. There are no direct flights between London and Kathmandu so you will usually need to fly via India. The duration will depend on the route but will be a minimum of 13 hours.

Flights are available for booking approximately 11 months in advance. If travelling during UK school holidays we suggest that you book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best fares. Prices will rise considerably the closer to departure that you book.

Age limits

There are no age limits on any of our tours. If you are considering including some trekking in your itinerary, we will be happy to discuss what will be most suitable for your children.
