Canada Itineraries
Canada is huge! Families would need months to fully do it justice, so we have decided to focus on two key areas. The Canadian Rockies are justifiably one of the country’s main attractions. Soaring snow-capped mountains, dazzling turquoise lakes, lush forested hillsides and mammoth glaciers provide a setting for endless outdoor adventure. Together with cosmopolitan Vancouver and the beaches and marine wildlife of Vancouver Island and you have our Western Canada for families itinerary. This ticks all the boxes for an active family holiday.
Over in the east, our Lakes, Falls and Cities of Ontario is an easy road trip for all ages. Here rural wilderness mixes with urban buzz (plus the spray of Niagara!) and can be enjoyed all year round. The modern skyline of Toronto, the quaint capital streets of Ottawa, not to mention the peaceful lakes of Algonquin Park (think moose, beavers and wolves).

Both trips can be worked in either direction and are based on self-drive. This allows you the ultimate flexibility and the freedom of the open road. If you have more time, you can also easily extend either route (or combine both).

There are of course many other areas we can include on your Canada itinerary. Experience the old-world charm of Quebec City and the bustling delights of Montreal. Or perhaps head to the maritime provinces for coastal exploration in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. It is also possible to combine Canada with the USA on a North American family holiday. You can head south from Vancouver to Seattle or cross over at Niagara and head to New York City. The Maple Leaf meets the Stars and Stripes!
