China itineraries

We have put together two different example itineraries to whet your appetite and give you an idea of the kind of holiday you and your family can have in China. Beijing, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army of X’ian and the Giant Pandas of Chengdu are a must. However, this is such a vast country that there are dozens of different variations that we can suggest depending on the duration of your holiday, the ages of your children and your budget.

11 Days

Visit Beijing, The Great Wall, Xian, Yangshuo & Chengdu

From £2,450 per person

Plus international flights starting at £750

15 Days

Visit Beijing, The Great Wall, Xian, Chengdu, Yangshuo, Longsheng & Shanghai

From £3,125 per person

Plus international flights starting at £700

All of our China itineraries are completely bespoke. If you have a generous budget, we can suggest gorgeous boutique hotels, whereas if you want to keep the price more manageable, we can suggest simpler guesthouses and homestays. There will be some internal flights to cover the vast distances; however, bullet trains are also a fun and quick way to get around.

See our China Travel Guide for useful info on visas, getting around, guides, and much more. Then call us to discuss the best China itinerary for you with one of our consultants who has firsthand knowledge of this incredible country.
