Bali & Indonesia pricing guide
As with much of South East Asia, Indonesia is a competitively priced destination and your money goes quite a long way. However, it is also a huge country and if you start to include a number of different islands which require internal flights, the price will start to increase.
Price guidelines
We like our tours to be accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
Our standard Bali holidays will start from around £8,000 for a two week holiday for a family of four based on mid-range boutique hotels (usually with pools). This excludes international flights.
There are also many gorgeous higher-end hotels. If you would prefer to stay in these, the price will start from £10,000 (for a two-week holiday for a family of four).
Prices for Lombok Island (or a Bali and Lombok combination) are similar.
If you are combining your trip to Bali with either a Komodo cruise or the island of Java, prices will usually be higher. This is partly due to the inclusion of domestic flights but also (with Komodo) the cruises are expensive. Prices for Bali & Java will start from £9,500. Prices for Bali & Komodo will start from £12,000 (excluding flights).
If you are travelling on a tight budget, there are various cost-cutting measures that we can use. These include opting for more simple accommodation and limiting the number of places visited. With these measures we may be able to bring the price down closer to £7,000 (for a two-week holiday for a family of four).
International flights
All prices exclude international flights. There are no direct flights from the UK to Indonesia but good connecting flights will usually cost around £850pp, more in peak season.
We can organise flights for you from any airport so please contact us for a no-obligation quote.
Flights are available for booking approximately 11 months in advance. If travelling during UK school holidays we suggest that you book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best fares. Prices will rise considerably the closer to departure that you book.
Age suitability
There are no age limits on any of our holidays and Bali is well suited to even the youngest children. We will tailor literally every itinerary to the ages of your children and can accommodate everyone from toddlers to grandparents!
Financial protection
Rest assured that you have 100% financial protection if you book with Stubborn Mule Travel. This is guaranteed through our membership of the Travel Trust Association (membership number Q0176) and our ATOL membership (number T7608). Further details can be found on our Financial Protection page.
