Price guidelines

To give you a guideline, a two-week holiday for a family of four to Mongolia would usually cost a minimum of around £10,000 excluding international flights. This is based on a mixture of different accommodation, including wild camping, simple ger camps and local hotels. Conditions will be relatively simple.

There are options to upgrade in some places to the larger tourist ger camps (although not everywhere) in which case the price for a family of four will start from £12,500 (excluding flights).

International flights

All prices exclude international flights. These start from £950 per person. We will be very happy to provide a flight quote for you from your nearest airport. Please ask us for details.

Flights are available for booking approximately 11 months in advance. If travelling during UK school holidays we suggest that you book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best fares. Prices will rise considerably the closer to departure that you book.

Age limits

We don’t impose any age limits although we will be honest with you about what we think is best for your family. There are long driving distances in Mongolia so families with younger children will want to consider carefully whether this is suitable for their particular children or not.
