When to go to Cuba
The best time to go to Cuba on holiday is between December and May when there are lots of dry and sunny days. It can be cool in the mountains during December and January so you need to pack some warmer clothes but this is generally a great time to be in Cuba.
Although June to November is the wet season, this is still a popular time to visit. If you travel during this time you should expect to get some rain, although it will often consist of a short heavy downpour and the skies will then clear for the rest of the day.
It also gets very hot and quite humid during the wet season so you will want to ensure that any itinerary has plenty of down time. This period is also hurricane season although Cuba tends to be less affected by this than other Caribbean islands. September and October are the months with the highest likelihood of a hurricane.
January
