Madagascar is a huge country and given the state of the roads, it’s not possible to see it all in one trip. You, therefore, have to select which part of the country you would like to visit and concentrate your time here. Our Landscapes of Southern Madagascar covers some of the most spectacular scenery of Madagascar, encompassing a huge range of different landscapes, some lush and fertile, others dramatically barren. There will also be plenty of opportunities to spot lemurs and other endemic wildlife. There will be some long (but breathtaking) journeys, ending with time to relax on the beach.
If you don’t have the appetite for a longer road trip, our Natural Madagascar tour concentrates on the wildlife hotspots in the east of the country. You’ll see plenty of lemurs and chameleons as well as some wonderful rainforest. Then fly to the idyllic pirate island of Ile St Marie, home to some of the best of Madagascar’s tropical beaches.
