Ecuador and Galapagos
Ecuador & Galapagos itineraries
Ecuador is a wonderfully compact country offering a huge variety of different scenery from snow-capped volcanoes to the dense Amazon jungle. Our two example itineraries, Volcanoes & Jungle and Ecuador & Galapagos Highlights, demonstrate how you could either spend all your holiday on the mainland or split your adventure between mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos.
If you want to tick off another great sight of South America, then our Galapagos & Peru Highlights takes in the fabled ruins at Machu Picchu as well as the Peruvian Amazon, the Sacred Valley and Cusco.

There are of course lots of variations. You may prefer to be land-based in the Galapagos and split your time between islands rather than take a live-aboard cruise. Or for those with a wildlife bias, you could travel deeper into the Amazon by flying to Coca. Or you could head south to the gorgeous colonial city of Cuenca via the Inca ruins of Ingapirca and the famous Devil’s Nose Railway. We will be able to advise what will suit your family so if you’d like to talk with someone with first-hand knowledge, do get in touch.
